Overview
In this role, you translate macro developments into cross-asset investment views and portfolio actions within the Portfolio Management team of the Chief Investment Office.
You contribute to a repeatable process that blends fundamental and macro analysis with disciplined risk management, leveraging data and coding to improve research workflows and portfolio construction.
You will support monitoring, reporting, and collaboration across the firm, helping to drive insight-driven investment decisions at scale.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and expand a macro framework linking growth, inflation, policy and macro data to cross-asset outcomes
- Automate and enhance research and reporting tools using coding and data analysis
- Analyze macro releases and market data to inform investment views and scenarios
- Support portfolio construction through risk and performance analysis and vehicle selection
- Apply AI techniques to improve research and portfolio management workflows
- Execute and oversee end-to-end trade processes, including pre-trade checks and post-trade follow-up
- Collaborate with risk management, analytics, research, compliance, technology, operations, and trading support teams
- Key requirements
- University degree in economics, finance or a technical subject (strong academic background)
- Knowledge of macro concepts and their impact on financial markets
- Experience in macro research, cross-asset strategy, or multi-asset portfolio management
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis and workflow automation
- Familiarity with Bloomberg, Haver or similar macro data services, with Python APIs
- Experience with time series datasets and producing clear, decision-ready analysis
- Understanding of portfolio risk and performance concepts (factor risk, drawdowns, attribution)
