Overview
In this Data Product Manager role within Asset Management, you design and deploy data products that drive business value and governance. You’ll collaborate across business, data, and technology teams to translate needs into tangible data solutions, ensuring quality, accessibility, and measurable outcomes. You’ll accelerate priority initiatives and help shape the data product operating model, all while maintaining trusted, fit-for-purpose data products.
Responsibilities
- Translate business use cases into data product specifications
- Collaborate with data owners to source, curate, and assess data quality
- Lead end-to-end data product development across stakeholders and tech teams
- Ensure governance, ownership, data contracts, and audit evidence are in place
- Drive adoption and value realization by ensuring products are understood and used
- Provide hands-on expertise to accelerate priority initiatives
- Contribute to design and continuous improvement of data product operating model
- Assess existing products for duplication and quality issues to support rationalization
Key requirements
- Hands-on experience developing data products or similar data assets
- Strong business engagement and ability to elicit and translate requirements
- Experience working with data owners and engineering teams to source and curate data
- Solid understanding of data quality and metadata management, with SQL and Python proficiency
- Ability to operate in a matrixed environment and influence across functions
- Understanding of risk and control principles in regulated environments
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities across multiple domains
