Equity Index Exotics – Trading Services Analyst/Associate

b Overview /b p As a Trading Services Analyst/Associate in the Equity Index Exotics Team, you will own the trade lifecycle, controls, and reconciliations to enable accurate, scalable, and evolving operations. You will support five desks trading structured products in OTC and securitized formats, acting as a domain SME for daily lifecycle events and risk checks. The role involves cross‑functional collaboration to resolve queries and ensure timely end‑to‑end processing and book integrity within a regulated framework. This opportunity offers involvement in strategic process improvements to enhance robustness and transparency across controls. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Own daily trade lifecycling and event management as an independent SME /li li Capture trades in risk management systems to fulfill Trading/Sales requests and perform key risk/PnL checks /li li Assist in resolving ad hoc queries from Product Control, Market Risk, Sales, Structuring, Quantitative Research and Technology /li li Perform start/end of day processes including reconciliation checks to ensure accurate activity capture and book management /li li Collaborate with other business functions to gather information, design solutions, and communicate to stakeholders /li li Ensure timely completion of controls with proper escalation of issues /li li Participate in strategic initiatives to evolve processes and business architecture for scale and regulatory alignment /li li Develop deep understanding of the Exotics space to propose robustness and visibility enhancements across controls and procedures /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Understanding of basic derivative products (options, swaps, futures) and simple exotics payoffs (variance swaps, auto-callables) /li li Knowledge of front-to-back operational procedures (legal docs, economic affirmation, confirmations, settlements, regulatory reporting) and experience facilitating cross‑team issue resolution /li li Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate and challenge when appropriate /li li Proactive ownership mindset with strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail /li li Team player with methodical approach in high‑pressure, fast‑paced environments /li li Strategic thinking and passion for innovation and change management /li /ul ul li clear communication /li li proactivity /li li team player /li li Excel /li li Alteryx /li li AI-powered analytics / workflow automation (developing experience) /li /ul
