You will collaborate across the organization to deliver timely reporting, maintain strong controls, and drive new initiatives. This role empowers you to make a significant impact, develop your technical and analytical skills, and lead transformation efforts to optimize P&L and risk reporting. You will be at the forefront of transitioning a key function to the region, directly supporting business growth and enhancing the control environment.Job responsibilitiesProduce, prepare, and report monthly profit and loss and risk metrics, ensuring accuracy and timelinessDeliver detailed financial analysis and reporting to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance managementPartner with the business to implement robust controls and new initiativesDrive coordination across functions to resolve control and reporting issuesServe as an analytical and project support resource for product controlHandle various ad-hoc requests dailyManage projects and initiatives related to product control and cross-business programsCommunicate effectively with stakeholders at all levelsContribute to a collaborative and high-performing team environmentMaintain a strong control focus in all tasksRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related fieldQualified accountant with proven track record/qualified by experienceExperience in product control, financial control, accounting, or a related area with in-depth understanding of P&L reporting and month-end close processesStrong analytical skills and attention to detail with a control focusExcellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationshipsDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teamsProficiency in Excel and PowerPoint requiredAbility to manage and lead multiple tasks and projects to conclusionExperience working in a fast-paced environmentCommitment to accuracy and integrity of financial dataHighly motivated, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering resultsPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsProduct knowledge and hands-on experience in the Payments businessUnderstanding of transaction cycle, infrastructure, and associated operational and financial processes and controlsExperience supporting senior management and delivering under pressureDetail-oriented with ability to deep dive on processes and improve controls or efficienciesProficiency in AlteryxExperience coordinating across multiple teamsAdvanced technical skills in financial analysis toolsJ.P.
