b Overview /b p In this VP role, you will translate data risk requirements into clear processes, robust controls, and actionable insights for regional leadership. You’ll work with business, risk, and control partners across LATAM and Canada to identify gaps and drive remediation, aligning with firmwide data risk policies. You’ll help build and sustain data control frameworks and foster a community of practice among data control managers. This position combines risk governance with practical implementation to strengthen our control environment. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Develop and oversee data management processes, risks, and controls, updating control design as governing documents change and managing issues /li li Perform risk assessments with Control Management and Regional CDO, including legal entity and compliance risk assessments /li li Ensure key controls are reflected in the risk and control assessment platform /li li Collaborate to create and maintain control management framework documentation /li li Support assessment of current-state controls to drive remediation and robust control management /li li Foster a community of practice for data control managers across functions /li li Review reporting and metrics to identify emerging risks and monitor standards adherence /li li Support control management priorities for regulatory inquiries and meetings /li li Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Operational Risk, and Audit to support tests, audits, and regulatory exams /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience /li li 7 years in financial services in controls, audit, risk management, data management, or compliance /li li Ability to assess risk, prioritize work, and engage senior leaders /li li Experience partnering to analyze, design, and implement risk and control practices /li li Ability to influence a strong risk culture and present to senior management /li li Strong understanding of the three lines of defense model /li li Proficiency in Microsoft Office and creating executive-level materials /li li Capable of independent work in a fast-paced environment and managing shifting priorities /li li Ability to work from a JPMorganChase office full-time (5 days per week) /li /ul ul li collaboration /li li influence /li li clear communication /li li Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) /li li risk and control management /li li issue management and remediation /li /ul
