We are recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated Residential Support Worker to join a children's residential home supporting young people with learning disabilities. The Role

  • Provide high-quality care and emotional support to children and young people.
  • Promote independence, confidence and positive outcomes.
  • Support daily routines, education and recreational activities.
  • Build positive relationships with young people and professionals.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning.
  • Ensure the home remains a safe, caring and supportive environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working with children or young people in a residential or care setting.
  • A caring, resilient and positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Level 3 qualification in Children & Young People's Workforce (or willingness to work towards it).
  • Flexibility to work a rota including weekends, sleep-ins and bank holidays.
  • A full UK driving licence is desirable.
