What You'll Be Doing
- You’ll be involved in the design and delivery of temporary works solutions across a variety of construction and infrastructure projects.
- Designing temporary works structures – propping, shoring, scaffolding and excavation support.
- Producing structural calculations and reports in accordance with Eurocodes.
- Preparing technical drawings and design details using AutoCAD or similar software.
- Collaborating with contractors, project managers and site teams.
- Attending site visits and inspections when required.
- Supporting design reviews and project coordination.
What We're Looking For
- A Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Around 3–6 years’ experience in structural or temporary works design.
- Knowledge of Eurocodes and BS5975 Temporary Works procedures.
