Are you ready to build your career at the ground level—literally? We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Engineering Geologist to join our growing team in Ware, Hertfordshire. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of ground investigation and geotechnical projects across the UK, gaining hands-on experience and developing your technical expertise within a supportive and dynamic environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assisting with and supervising site investigations (trial pits, boreholes, logging)
  • Soil and rock logging to current standards
  • Collecting and managing geotechnical and environmental samples
  • Supporting the preparation of factual and interpretive reports
  • Liaising with site teams, contractors, and clients
  • Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained on site

What We’re Looking For

  • A degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, or a related discipline
  • Some relevant site or consultancy experience (ideal but not essential)
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
