Our clients are a firm of Consulting Civil, Structural, and Geotechnical Engineers, based in Cheshire, but undertaking projects throughout the UK. They work across a wide variety of sectors including Education, Commercial, Retail, Residential, Healthcare, Industrial, Infrastructure and Ballistic Design. Essential Requirements- Minimum two yearsβ experience within Structural design, including steelwork, reinforced concrete and masonry construction to Euro Code standard
- Proficient use of AutoCAD, Masterseries and TEDDS design software
- Producing detailed structural calculations and sketches
- Preparation of construction drawings and specifications
- Commercial awareness of costing, budgets and quotations
- Report writing
- Site visits to verify construction complies with construction drawings
- Understanding of STAAD.Pro, SCIA and Revit
- Project management and leadership skills
- Willing to work towards or nearing Chartered Status
- Experience of working within a multi-skilled, multi-office organisation
