Are you an experienced Building Surveyor looking for a role with variety, progression and the chance to work on interesting projects?
We’re looking for a Building Surveyor to join a growing consultancy in Hull, working across a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, education, healthcare and public-sector projects.
You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of projects, build strong client relationships and develop your technical expertise.
What you’ll be doing

Carrying out building surveys, inspections and condition assessments
*
Producing clear, professional reports and schedules of works
*
Investigating defects and providing practical technical advice
*
Preparing specifications and contract documentation
*
Supporting project management and contract administration
*
Working closely with clients, contractors and design teams
*
Managing your own workload and delivering projects to deadlines
What we’re looking for
*
Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related subject
*
Previous UK building surveying experience
*
Good knowledge of construction, defects and building pathology
*
Strong report writing and technical skills
*
Confident communicating with clients and project teams
*
RICS qualified or working towards chartership is desirable
