My client is looking for motivated and enthusiastic Mechanical Graduates to join their team in Nottingham. You will be working with experienced engineers and professionals to provide sustainable innovative solutions for their clients, as well as working on exciting and complex projects across all sectors of the Built Environment.
You will start your journey on our Graduate Training Programme, which shall develop you through our core Mechanical services. Their structured training programme covers practical experience with internal training, CPDs and external training courses. You will be supported by your mentor and line manager as well as being coached by experienced Design and Senior Engineers in a team environment.
Your learning will be hands-on both in the office and on site. Once you have completed the training scheme, you will be working towards managing and leading your own projects. You will be encouraged to become a chartered engineer through an accredited institution such as CIBSE, IMechE or IET; they also cover the cost of your professional membership.
Your workload will be varied including using the latest technology to prepare drawings and design for our clients, undertaking building surveys, attending site meetings and being involved in the development of net zero carbon energy strategies.
You will have attained or will be graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering or in a related subject. You will have good numeracy, literacy and IT skills and be a confident communicator. You will have had experience with AutoCAD software and may have some knowledge of REVIT. You should be self-motivated and it would be advantageous to have gained some previous work experience within Building Services or a related field. This is not essential.
