Excellent opportunity to join a well established building services consultancy. The role exists to drive best practice in building physics and building modelling throughout the business. They are now looking for enthusiastic graduate Building Physicists to continue to build their Building Services discipline in the South West. You will become a part of the Buildings department, which includes Building Services, Structures, Civil, Facades, Acoustics and many more specialist teams. Your role will allow you to collaborate with all disciplines, providing growth and knowledge to enhance your engineering competence.
Your skills and experience:
- Understand the principles of building physics
- Have a basic knowledge of passive design, low and zero carbon technologies and βnet zeroβ, and understand the importance of applying these principles in building design
- Have effective communication skills and an inclination to engage with project teams
- Interest in coding skills
- Interest in energy modelling tools such as EDSL TAS or IES
- Have enthusiasm for sustainable design
