We’re currently looking for an experienced Senior Setting Out Engineer to join our team on projects across Glasgow. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong site experience who is looking for a long-term position, competitive salary and the chance to earn additional money through overtime.
The role will involve:
- Setting out works accurately from drawings and specifications
- Carrying out levels, measurements and site checks
- Using surveying equipment and relevant software
- Working closely with Site Managers and the wider project team
- Monitoring works to ensure they are completed accurately and to the required standards
- Providing technical support and guidance on site
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting progress
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a Setting Out Engineer, ideally at Senior level
- A strong background in civil engineering or construction
- Good knowledge of setting out and surveying
- The ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Relevant qualifications and CSCS certification
