We would like to hear from geo-environmental professionals seeking the next step in their career to join a specialist land contamination team based in London. The position would suit a driven and enthusiastic consultant with strong technical ability, a focus on client care and problem solving skills. Experience in contaminated land risk assessment is essential, including preliminary risk assessments and GQRA for human health and controlled waters. Whilst they welcome applicants from all academic backgrounds, the successful candidate would likely possess a strong degree in environmental science, geoscience or geology and postgraduate experience or qualifications in contaminated land risk assessment. Applicants are expected to be actively working towards chartership. Some affinity towards contaminant fate modelling and a holistic understanding of engineering geology / ground engineering would be highly valued. Similarly, experience with using GIS or coding would be advantageous. Primary role responsibilities would include: – Prepare Phase I desk studies, Phase II geo-environmental interpretative reports and remediation verification reports – Assist Graduate Geo-environmental Consultants as the team grows – Assist senior staff in undertaking Detailed Quantitative Risk Assessments and preparing Remediation Strategies – Promote a passion for the discipline and our services, by always striving for design and delivery excellence – Project management of suitable projects as well as being the main client contact, This is an urgent role, for more information or to apply please send your CV ASAP
