Working along Southampton’s vibrant coastline, you\’ll be delivering real-world impact across a rich portfolio of projects. 🛠️ What You\’ll Be Doing As a Geo Engineer, your scope will be excitingly broad. You’ll be trusted to: * Lead on-site investigations, including trial pitting, soak-away testing, borehole supervision, and capping verification * Supervise construction phases, from inspecting foundations to managing remediation of contaminated sites and mine workings * Compile and author detailed Phase 1 and 2 geotechnical and geo-environmental reports * Prepare coal mining risk assessments, earthworks strategies, and verification documentation * Advise on geotechnical parameters for foundations, slope stability, and other structural elements * Conduct detailed quantitative risk assessments and support safe, sustainable project design * Collaborate closely with clients, regulators, contractors, and internal engineering teams across multiple disciplines This is not just a desk-bound role.
