What You'll Be Doing
- You’ll be involved in the design and delivery of temporary works solutions across a variety of construction and infrastructure projects.
- Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing temporary works structures – propping, shoring, scaffolding and excavation support
- Producing structural calculations and reports in accordance with Eurocodes
- Preparing technical drawings and design details using AutoCAD or similar software
- Collaborating with contractors, project managers and site teams
- Attending site visits and inspections when required
- Supporting design reviews and project coordination
What We're Looking For
- A Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Around 3–6 years’ experience in structural or temporary works design
- Knowledge of Eurocodes and BS5975 Temporary Works procedures
- Experience with structural analysis and CAD software
- Working toward Chartered Engineer status (ICE or IStructE) (desirable)
