We are looking for a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer to join our established and growing consultancy team based in Bristol, offering flexible hybrid working. This role suits an experienced geo-environmental professional ready to take ownership of projects and support junior staff.
The Role
You will lead and deliver geo-environmental and contaminated land projects, working closely with clients, contractors, and regulators, while helping to shape technical quality and project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and delivering Phase I & Phase II site investigations
- Designing and supervising ground investigations
- Contaminated land risk assessment and remediation strategies
- Interpreting data and producing high-quality technical reports
- Client, contractor, and regulator liaison
- Mentoring and supporting junior engineers
- Assisting with bids and proposals
About You
- Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or related discipline
- Strong experience in geo-environmental / contaminated land consultancy
- Good working knowledge of UK guidance and legislation
- Proven project and report management skills
- Chartered or working towards chartership (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
