We’re looking for a motivated Estimator to join our dynamic team in Teddington, helping deliver accurate pricing and tendering across a diverse portfolio of groundworks and RC frame projects throughout London and the South East.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a technical mindset and commercial awareness who’s keen to build a long‑term career in estimating within a growing and supportive construction business.
What You’ll Do
- Support Senior Estimators in preparing competitive tenders and detailed cost estimates.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Compile bills of quantities and material take‑offs.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations.
- Contribute to tender submissions and bid documentation.
- Develop an understanding of commercial risks and opportunities in civil and groundworks packages.
About You
You might come from a site engineering, commercial, or academic background—what matters most is your enthusiasm and attention to detail.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (estimating software experience is a plus).
- Proactive, organised, and eager to grow within a collaborative team.
