The Role

We are seeking a Growth Consultancy Director to join JPC’s Senior Leadership Team and play a pivotal role in shaping, scaling and leading our Growth Consultancy Business Unit. This is a rare opportunity for a senior consulting or strategic leader who combines sharp strategic thinking with operational grip and commercial discipline – someone who enjoys turning ambitious ideas into consistently excellent delivery.

Core Purpose of the Role

The Growth Consultancy Director is accountable for the day‑to‑day success, quality and commercial performance of JPC’s Growth Consultancy. The role exists to ensure that:

  • Consulting strategy is developed and translated into high‑quality, outcome‑led delivery
  • Client commitments are met consistently and credibly at senior level
  • Teams are well‑led, supported and held to clear standards
  • The Consulting Business Unit operates with financial, operational and delivery discipline
  • JPC’s consulting IP is codified, scalable and commercially valuable

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Lead the delivery of JPC’s consulting services across ABG, DBM and revenue transformation engagements
  • Personally plan, lead and facilitate high‑impact client workshops and senior stakeholder sessions
  • Set clear delivery direction, ensuring work is tightly aligned to defined client outcomes and commercial objectives
  • Review and quality‑assure all consulting outputs, maintaining consistently high standards
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior client leaders, constructively challenging thinking and guiding decision‑making

Client Relationship Ownership & Revenue Growth

  • Take senior ownership of key consulting client relationships, with accountability for satisfaction, retention and growth
  • Build deep, trusted relationships with CROs, CMOs and C‑suite leaders
  • Identify and convert expansion opportunities within existing accounts, working closely with the Managing Partner
  • Ensure engagements deliver both measurable client impact and strong commercial outcomes

Commercial & Operational Leadership

  • Own day‑to‑day P&L management for the Growth Consultancy, including revenue forecasting, margin control, utilisation and cost management
  • Lead annual and quarterly planning cycles, including budgets, resourcing plans and delivery roadmaps
  • Ensure consulting work is scoped, priced and delivered profitably, with clear guardrails on scope and change control
  • Establish delivery governance, reporting and performance rhythms that provide clear visibility of progress, risk and opportunity
  • Build pragmatic operational processes that improve consistency and scalability without adding unnecessary bureaucracy

Consulting IP, Productisation & Proposition Development

  • Codify JPC’s consulting models, frameworks and methodologies into clear, repeatable intellectual property
  • Support the development of productised consulting offers and subscription‑based propositions
  • Contribute to thought leadership through POVs, frameworks and market‑facing content that builds credibility and demand
  • Act as a player‑coach: hands‑on where required, while actively developing others to lead delivery
  • Set clear objectives, performance standards and development plans across the consulting team

About You

You are operating – or ready to operate – at Partner / Principal level, with a background spanning consulting, agency leadership, commercial strategy, revenue transformation or senior GTM roles. You bring:

  • Proven experience leading complex consulting or transformation engagements with senior commercial leaders
  • Strong credibility with CROs, CMOs and revenue leadership teams
  • A sales‑led mindset with a deep understanding of how marketing enables revenue
  • Confidence challenging clients respectfully and constructively
  • A genuine passion for building and scaling consulting IP
