WHAT IS THE ROLE?

A key representative of JP Corry, the role of a HGV driver is both reliable and customer focused. The role is central to delivering our products safely, efficiently, and with pride to customers across residential and commercial sites. This is a multi-drop role where you'll be the face of the branch, showcasing passion and professionalism in ensuring a first-class service. You'll be part of a supportive team, delivering more than just products; you'll be an integral part of a sustainable supply chain while growing your own career. You'll be part of a supportive, values-led business with a clear purpose of Building our future, through helping others build theirs. This role is primarily based in Castledawson but will also include some cover for our Derry/L'Derry branch. Branch opening hours are Mon - Thurs 07.30 - 17:00, Fri 07.30 - 16.00, Sat 08.00 - 12.00, and we are flexible to consider a variety of working hours/patterns to suit your needs!

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

  • Carry out safe, timely, and accurate deliveries to customers, ensuring on time, in full every time.
  • Complete daily vehicle checks and comply with all legal, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Load and secure vehicles safely, occasionally supporting in the yard with loading/unloading.
  • Work closely with the branch team to ensure efficient routes and maximum productivity.
  • Provide excellent customer service on every delivery, representing JP Corry with professionalism.
  • Support branch and brand operations when required, working as part of a collaborative team.

  • A clean Class 2 HGV License with full CPC and tacho compliance
  • A strong focus on safety and compliance
