What You’ll Be Doing
- Operating a variety of woodworking machinery such as wall-saw, edge bander, glue press, rip-saw and planer
- Modification and finishing of washroom systems (e.g. lipping, adjusting, trimming/cutting down sheet materials)
- Adherence to EHS standards by ensuring the work area is kept tidy, cleaned daily and machinery is rigorously maintained
Working Hours
Monday – Thursday 07:30-16:15 and Friday 07:30-13:00, with overtime as required.
What You’ll Need To Have
- Proven experience in a timber mill
- Proven ability to operate machinery, setting correct specifications with minimal supervision
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
- Comfortable working in a busy environment
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
It Would Be Great If You Also Have
- Prior use of an edge bander, glue press, wall-saw and planers (desirable)
- Prior experience of washroom, woodworking and production (desirable)
- Relevant woodwork machinery qualification (desirable)
