Building Surveyors – Midlands / Central England / Northern Home Counties; Due to the continued growth of our reputation within the insurance sector, we are seeking experienced Chartered Building Surveyors to support an increasing and diverse workload. This is a busy, varied, and rewarding role involving a wide range of projects, primarily within the insurance sector. You will be involved in reinstating residential and commercial properties across all forms of construction. Key Candidate Requirements- Highly organised, efficient, and reliable
- Professional in approach, with a commitment to a long‑term career
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Experienced in project management, design, defect diagnosis and contract administration
- Knowledgeable in:
- CDM Regulations 2015
- Party Wall etc. Act 1996
- Building Regulations
- Planning and Listed Building Legislation
- Electric or hybrid company car, or car allowance
- Mobile phone, laptop, and all necessary equipment
- Private medical insurance
- Flexible working (home or office‑based)
- Supportive and collaborative team environment
- Inspect and advise on the design, construction, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of buildings
- Undertake measured surveys, defect diagnosis, and investigations
- Assess building conditions and develop repair solutions
- Prepare reports, specifications, and technical drawings
- Manage tender processes and post‑tender analysis
- Oversee works in line with recognised building contracts and technical standards
- Act as project lead, delivering professional consultancy services independently
- Apply relevant legislation including health & safety, party wall, building regulations, and planning
