Core Responsibilities

  • Maintenance Support: Assisting with daily operations, routine maintenance, and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) at instructed intervals.
  • Technical Assistance: Helping with the repair and replacement of belts, drums, and motors, including efficient belt tracking.
  • System Monitoring: Identifying and reporting faults to the Senior Engineer or Engineering Manager.
  • Machinery Operation: Operating key plant machinery, including the baler and RRU, while performing basic fault-finding.
  • Facility Care: Cleaning and maintaining MRF machinery and bag houses to ensure peak efficiency.
  • Plant Operation: Driving plant machinery (following relevant training).

Who You Are

Essential Skills: Proven experience with hydraulic systems is essential for this role.

Technical Aptitude: The ability to carry out basic fault-finding and repairs.

Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude.

Desirable Background: Experience working in an MRF environment is highly preferred.

Additional Assets: Qualifications or experience in single/three-phase electrical systems, basic fabrication skills, or certifications such as MEWPS and Forklift licenses are highly desirable.
