We are on the hunt for a Showroom & Events Assistant for our long-standing and market-leading interiors client, who will be responsible for ensuring the showroom and visitor experience is second to none, and be an integral part of the press, marketing, and events team. The successful candidate must have high standards and be able to demonstrate strong creative skills and an interest in beautiful design. This must be supported by excellent written and communication skills, and an organised approach to work. This candidate must wish to take personal enjoyment in, and developing, knowledge of British craftsmanship, and demonstrate a proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting their team with new launches and showroom redesigns and championing fantastic customer service – alongside creating a welcoming and inspiring environment. Attention to detail is key and must radiate in their day-to-day responsibilities. Previous experience of working in a retail environment or hospitality is essential, alongside a creative or visual merchandising qualification, and an interest in visual merchandising will be hugely beneficial.

Hours: Mon – Thurs 9.30 – 6pm / Fri 9.30 – 5pm (Flexibility required during busy periods)

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Seasonal window displays
  • Showroom preparation / maintenance
  • Meet and greet visitors
  • Planning showroom client events
  • Support Visual Merchandiser with instore installations / photoshoots etc
  • New collection launch preparation
  • Maintain / manage the quality and condition of showroom stock
  • Sourcing and arranging showroom flowers
  • Research showroom stock items
