Our prestigious interiors and design client is seeking a highly organised PA to join its team and support the Managing Director. This is a fabulous opportunity to sit at the heart of a growing company, supporting the MD while working closely alongside the EA to the Directors. The role touches every part of the business, from manufacturing, sales and marketing through to events, HR and finance, giving the right candidate genuine variety and influence.

The successful candidate will join a business dedicated to championing British craftsmanship and preserving traditional skills. Applicants should be highly organised team players, with excellent attention to detail, hard-working, and resourceful. Excellent Microsoft Office skills and at least two years of PA or administrative experience are essential. An OMBS, Quest or Pitman secretarial qualification would be beneficial, as would a genuine interest in art and design. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential, along with discretion and a strong sense of confidentiality.

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 9:30am–6:00pm; Friday, 9:30am–5:00pm

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Diary management to ensure smooth day to day and operational efficiency
  • Arranging internal and external meetings and client events in collaboration with the team
  • Booking travel, including flights, hotels, trains and currency, plus mileage and ad hoc expense claims
  • Preparing trip itineraries
  • Tracking requests from the MD to direct reports and the team, and following these up
  • Arranging board meetings and assisting with document preparation
  • Organising internal events
  • Taking notes at bi-monthly meetings
  • Assisting with ad hoc personal admin
  • Supporting the organisation of other company events as needed
