A leading furniture design consultancy is seeking a Furniture Project Administrator to join its growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative and organisational skills who wants to build a career within the sector. The successful candidate will provide essential support across the project lifecycle, helping to ensure everything runs smoothly from initial quotation through installation.
Working closely with the project team, suppliers, warehouse staff and clients, the role will suit someone proactive, detail-focused and comfortable juggling multiple tasks and deadlines. Confidence with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is important, as is a commercially aware mindset and a genuine interest in furniture, interiors and workplace projects. Previous experience in furniture or interiors would be beneficial, though it is not essential for the right candidate.
Based: Full-time office - with hybrid working on Fridays
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to the project team
- Supporting the preparation of quotations, purchase orders and order confirmations
- Maintaining accurate project records, schedules and documentation
- Coordinating meetings, managing diaries and preparing meeting notes
- Liaising with suppliers and warehouse team coordinating deliveries and installations
- Preparing product samples, schedules and presentation materials
- Assisting with client enquiries and coordinating project requirements
- Supporting the team with project updates, tracking and general administration
- Preparing manuals for completed projects
- Helping to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on time and to standard
- Supporting sustainability objectives and maintaining relevant project information
- Providing general administrative and organisational support as required
