Our FTSE 100 client seeks an experienced Executive Assistant, with c-suite experience to provide high-level business support to their CFO, serving as guardian, planner, and gatekeeper to their day-to-day activities.

The ideal candidate will need to be flexible enough to work around what is required to get the job done – with out-of-hours work if necessary. They should be highly polished and experienced in delivering superior support in a fast-paced finance environment.

The successful candidate must possess exceptional communication skills and the ability to deal with stakeholders at every level. They must be a proactive problem solver and understand all that is necessary to handle confidential, difficult, or sensitive information and situations with diplomacy, discretion, and sensitivity.

This role requires demonstrable expertise in prioritisation and time management to effectively handle complex and conflicting priorities while ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day activities and logistics.

Excellent IT and business support software skills are essential.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  1. Organise / summarise papers and reports & conduct additional research as necessary
  2. Manage all incoming communications (mail, calls and messages)
  3. Ensure efficient management of the diary / travel and logistics – complex global travel with often last minute changes and amendments
  4. Manage and process the expenses / invoices
  5. Support and/or deliver additional activities such as ad-hoc project work as directed
  6. Produce board-level documentation for internal and external meetings
  7. Maintain and develop a good understanding of the Company, its structure and relevant procedures

Hours: Core hours 9 – 5pm but work may be required outside of these times.
