This is an incredible opportunity to join the sharp end of luxury goods retail. We are seeking a Senior Events Manager to work in partnership with our big-label client, reporting directly to the Head of Operations delivering internal and external events.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated and driven, with an extensive background in luxury hospitality and a strong interest in human resources / learning & development.
This Senior Events Manager must bring experience dealing with the highest levels of senior management, CEOs, and stakeholders, and possess exacting standards, meticulous attention to detail and exceptional visual and written communication skills.
This role requires 3-5 years experience in luxury hospitality & event management; professional EA experience to C-Suite level is advantageous.
Proficiency in MS Office, digital communication channels and design tools, including intranets, LinkedIn, Teams, SharePoint, Canva, Adobe Premiere, or Final Cut Pro X is required, along with good spoken French.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Work with Head of Operations to deliver overall strategy for hospitality & Group Learning
- Manage all guest experiences / events on-site
- Operate as ambassador & host, standing in for Head of Operations as required
- Take complete ownership delivery of Group Learning & Development initiatives
- Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders
- Act as main point of contact for attendees before & during events
- Maintain database to ensure event attendance is effectively managed
- Work with third-parties (hotels, restaurants, catering) to ensure events delivered to plan
- Prepare materials for attendees, team members and speakers
- Prepare and calculate event costs within agreed budgets
- Negotiate fees with external suppliers
Office based with WFH 1 – 2 days if events allow
Hours: 9-6pm
