We are working with a highly successful Private Equity firm to find an exceptional Private Equity Executive Assistant to support their Managing Partner. This is not a standard EA role. It is a true right-hand position at the centre of the firm. Our client is looking for an ambitious, high-calibre individual who wants real exposure to the inner workings of a PE partnership, and who can become a trusted, indispensable presence in the business.

The successful candidate will bring exceptional judgement, discretion, sharp emotional intelligence and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. They will be a confident communicator with the polish to engage directly with partners and senior stakeholders. This is a demanding role that calls for flexibility, with out-of-hours work expected, particularly when the Principal is travelling and working across different time zones. In return, our client offers genuine trust and autonomy. This role suits someone who thrives on common sense, ownership and getting the job done. Prior experience in private equity would be an advantage, though it is not essential. Candidates must come from a financial or professional services background, with experience dealing with UHNWIs, and should be comfortable with the pace, language and confidentiality demands of this world.

Salary: £80,000 to £100,000 + great benefits / discretionary bonus

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Acting as a trusted sounding board and gatekeeper to the Managing Partner, managing time, priorities and access
  • Preparing briefings, agendas and materials for meetings, and tracking follow-up actions
  • Attending partner meetings to support firmwide cohesion and communication
  • Owning special projects and cross-functional initiatives from start to finish
  • Preparing and refining presentations and materials for the investment committee, limited partners and board
  • Supporting investor relations and global fundraising, including roadshows, investor meetings and CRM management
  • Preparing and quality-checking fundraising materials, including pitch decks and due diligence documentation
  • Planning and delivering key firm events, from AGMs to investor dinners and portfolio company off-sites
  • Acting as first point of contact for the Managing Partner's office, managing correspondence and stakeholder relationships
  • Coordinating complex, multi-time-zone calendars, travel and expenses, and overseeing day-to-day office management
