We currently have a wonderful opportunity for a motivated and collaborative administrator to join the Development Office of a West London private school, to assist supporting the Head of Development in delivering a comprehensive fundraising programme. This role requires a proactive team-player with a can-do attitude, who is willing to get stuck in, take on more responsibility and make the role their own; someone with real get up and go!
The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels. They should demonstrate a professional, customer-focused approach and understand the school’s values. Outstanding IT, database and analytical skills are essential. Experience using fundraising databases would be an advantage, as would experience in the education or charitable sectors.
Hours: Term time Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-4:30pm. School holidays 8am-4:30pm.
Start: ASAP (pending checks).
Holiday: 28 days (during school holidays) + bank holidays and Christmas closure.

Duties:
- Process, administer, record and acknowledge donations
- Assist with donor communications
- Maintain and update CRM database
- Run routine queries and reports
- Produce segmented mailing lists
- Support production of donor materials
- Help to collate articles for newsletters, website etc
- Maintain an organised photo library for social media and communications channels
- Assist with copywriting and proofreading
- Provide administrative support for calendar of events
- Social media / website support
- Conduct research
- First point of contact for enquiries / chaperone and host guests where necessary
