A fast-paced, high-profile PA opportunity has arisen within a leading global media agency, based in South East London, supporting the Events Technology Director, within a large and busy tech-oriented department. This role sits within a team of technical experts, and as such, requires an assertive, astute and methodical assistant, genuinely comfortable with detail and precision; this is a role for someone who thrives on complexity. This role demands being able to handle a fast-paced environment and competing priorities. The ideal candidate will understand technical language, appreciate the need for meticulous accuracy, and be confident pushing back when necessary. A few years of solid PA experience is essential, as is a natural aptitude for IT, spreadsheets and a head for budgets. Italian language skills would be a welcome bonus.
Hours: 9 – 5.30pm
Based: SE London / Croydon area (transport options)
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Complex diary and meeting management, ensuring Director’s time is well organised / protected
- Extensive travel planning, alongside in-house travel team, ensuring all arrangements are seamless from start to finish
- Troubleshooting and resolving logistical issues swiftly and calmly as they arise
- Compiling detailed itineraries
- Remain apprised and report on team’s movements and whereabouts at times of travel
- Budget tracking / management, including the preparation and maintenance of spreadsheets
- Providing ad hoc support to four Heads of Department – as required
