The role: We are excited to be on the hunt for a talented and motivated individual to join our client's team as a Gym Social Media Manager. As our new Gym Social Media Manager, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality and on-brand content that effectively communicates their brand message, increases brand awareness, and drives user engagement. YOUR IMPACT:
- Lead Social Content Strategy and Development: Develop compelling and creative copy for social media platforms, including Instagram, Threads and LinkedIn. Craft engaging captions, headlines, taglines, and descriptions that resonate with the target audience, reflect the brand's voice, and drive user engagement.
- Deliver Brand Consistency: Ensure that all social media content aligns with Crowns Gym messaging, tone, and style guidelines. Maintain a consistent brand voice across different platforms and adapt the copywriting approach as needed while staying true to the brand's identity.
- Conduct Thorough Research and Analysis: Understand audience preferences, interests and industry trends, adapting copy accordingly to maximize engagement and reach whilst continually working to improve and innovate our content.
- Monitor Trends: Stay up to date with the latest social media trends and topics relevant to our industry and target audiences. Leverage these trends to create timely and relevant content that capitalises on popular conversations and increases brand visibility.
- Build Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the creative team (designers, social media managers, photographers, videographers), to create cohesive and visually appealing social media content. Collaborate on the ideation and execution of campaigns, ensuring that the copy aligns with the visual elements and overall campaign objectives.
- Grow Brand Advocacy: Work cross-functionally with Brand, Content, Communications, Customer Experience, Employer Branding, Partnerships and other teams to create a regular cadence of high-impact moments that drive overall business goals with consistent messaging. Serve as a brand advocate by embodying the brand's values, mission, and culture in all social media interactions. Maintain a positive and professional online presence, representing the brand in a manner that builds trust and credibility among the target audience.
WHO YOU ARE:
- A fast learner with 2-4 years of editorial or social media experience (wellness/fitness experience is a must for this role).
- Familiar with creating high-performing assets for social media.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, their unique features, and best practices for engaging business and consumer audiences.
- Familiarity with community engagement strategies and tactics.
- Hands-on experience building and managing digital communities.
- Understanding of how cultural trends form and the ability to anticipate and act on them.
- Proven ability to manage and successfully balance multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with autonomy in a fast-paced, ambiguous, complex and dynamic environment.
Fully remote position, ideally based close to / can travel to Beckenham, UK.
