Jovonna London is an independent London-based label that offers a transitional wardrobe where classic silhouettes meet modern tailoring and embellishment. Consistently inspired by London’s unique fashion scene, Creative Director Jojo fuses a modern and feminine approach to style and design.

We are looking for someone who can visualise and create graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts, and photos. You will be responsible for creating the visual aspects of the website, exhibitions, magazine, product packaging, and more.

Responsibilities:
  • Content creation: write high-quality and engaging content across different formats.
  • Ensure content delivers on its objectives and is aligned to each platform’s TOV and messaging.
  • Your exceptional written content will help communicate our brand stories to new and existing audiences, including crafting copy for seasonal campaigns and product launches, as well as taglines and annual marketing moments, such as Easter and Christmas.
  • Website: support our ecommerce teams with compelling copy for landing pages and product descriptions that will help persuade customers to take the desired action online.
  • Digital marketing copy: from social captions, CRM and referral programmes, to paid social and search - you will understand each of our channels and their content requirements, supplying copy that engages, cuts through, and is platform-first.
  • Managing design proposals from typesetting through to design, print, and product.
  • Study design briefs and determine requirements.
  • Schedule projects and define budget constraints.
  • Conceptualise visuals based on requirements.
  • Prepare drafts and present ideas.
  • Develop illustrations, logos, and other designs using the relevant software or by hand.
  • Use the appropriate colours and layouts for each graphic.
  • Work with copywriters and the creative director to produce final designs.
  • Test graphics across various media.
  • Review final layouts and suggest improvements.
  • Amend designs after feedback.
  • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
Requirements and skills:
  • Proven graphic designing experience.
  • A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics.
  • Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop).
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
  • Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus.
  • Desirable but not mandatory to have a university degree related to arts or design (i.e. graphic design, architecture, interior design, art).

Salary: Competitive rate applies.

Hours & Location: Average working hours are approximately 40 hours per week. Location: Head Office, 18 Molasses Row, London SW113TY.

Interview: Candidates selected for interview should be able to demonstrate their creative ability by providing a range of creative work to view in a portfolio in physical or electronic format.
