We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to support the planning and delivery of client-driven and strategic software projects within Journey’s portfolio. Working closely with senior Project Managers, Product teams, and Software Development leads, you will define and communicate project plans, schedules, and resources. You will be embedded with delivery teams, focused on coordination, clarity, and follow-through, working on Journey’s largest and most important projects to date.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day of both client-facing and internal software development projects, including schedules, task tracking, and resourcing.
- Coordinate project activities and maintain project plans, ensuring progress is visible and risks are identified early.
- Manage team tasks and dependencies, helping internal teams and external stakeholders understand timelines and priorities.
- Communicate regularly with internal teams and client-facing partners, tailoring updates to the audience with guidance from senior project leadership.
- Track project financials such as effort, burn, and forecasts, and support required reporting.
- Support the use of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile practices within projects, helping teams remove blockers and maintain momentum.
- Collaborate with other Project Managers to share best practices and contribute to the continued development of Journey’s project management discipline.
Candidate Qualifications and Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in software project management
- Hands-on experience working with Agile or hybrid software development methodologies
- Experience supporting projects with multiple stakeholders and evolving requirements
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative working style
- A project management certification
- Experience using common project management tools and collaboration platforms
- Exposure to 3D digital workflows such as video games, XR, Digital Twins, CG animation, or visual effects
- Experience working in creative production environments
