Are you a qualified electrician who specialises in Solar? Do you have a minimum 2 years’ experience in the solar industry? If so, this could be the perfect role for you! Our client is looking to hire a fantastic Solar PV Electrician to join their team. The salary for this role is £45,000 plus a bonus. Main responsibilities for the Solar Electrician role: Diagnose and address functionality and safety issues Plan and commission installations, indoor and outdoor electrical control, and wiring. Visit Installations both internal and external contractors inspect and test electrical systems, including fuses, transformers, and circuit breakers. Visit customer and sites to support their growth in solar. Ensuring that electrical systems adhere to the national electrical safety standards and regulations. Qualifications for the Solar Electrician role: You will have a minimum of 2 years solar industry experience. Full driving licence required. Level 3 in Building Regulations for Electrical Installations in Dwellings BPEC – Installation & maintenance of small-scale solar PV systems. 18th Edition City & Guilds requirement for electrical installations (18th Edition) (BS7671 Level 3) City & Guilds fundamental inspection, testing & initial verification (Level 2) Solar PV Installers and Battery Storage Course (Level 3) desired but not essential….
