Are you a talented Painter and Decorator with great attention to detail? Do you enjoy working on varied projects? If so, this could be the role for you! Our prestigious client is looking for a Painter and Decorator to join their growing Estate Management team. The position works specifically within the Property Team supporting the long term maintenance and day to day operation of the estate. This is a varied role and will require you to work independently as well as part of a team. The nature of this Painter and Decorator role will require outstanding attention to detail across each project and high standards of delivery and execution.

The hours are working 7:30am to 4pm Monday to Friday with a 30-minute lunch break. There will also be a requirement to work some specific weekends over the year. The salary for this fantastic role is up to £30,000 and also additional adhoc overtime is available along with a discretionary bonus.

Main responsibilities for the Painter and Decorator role are:

  • Support the P&D Team leader with Health and Safety within the Painting and Decorating Team.
  • Support on raising orders for P&D budget lines, making sure any overspends are communicated to the Facilities Manager.
  • To ensure and maintain the estate in accordance with operating procedures.
  • To undertake regular inspections of the estate, making sure any faults are repaired within deadlines.
  • Adhoc tasks as requested.

Skills required for the Painter and Decorator role are:

  • Can work at times with little or no supervision and have the ability to work under pressure.
  • Significant experience as a painter and decorator for a large organisation.
  • Possess relevant qualifications and competencies relating to a painting and decorating background.
  • Proactive and flexible attitude.
  • Computer literate with a good standard of ICT knowledge including Microsoft Office.
