A well-established company based near Marlow is seeking a skilled and motivated MIG Welder / Fabricator to join its team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to further develop their career within a structured and quality-driven manufacturing environment. The Welder / Fabricator leads the welding and fabrication of construction products, ensuring high quality, compliance, and efficient workshop operations while supporting junior team members.
The working hours for this role are Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4pm and Friday 7.30am to 4pm. You will have two fifteen minute breaks alongside 1 hour for lunch. The salary for this role is up to £32,000 dependent on experience.
Key Responsibilities for the MIG Welder role are:- MIG weld and fabricate products for the construction industry, including samples and trial pieces
- Join metal parts using appropriate welding methods and equipment
- Prepare materials and set up components for welding (including use of angle grinders)
- Assist with press brake operation and other workshop machinery
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and support team productivity
- Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of the workshop and equipment
- Follow company procedures, including ISO9001, ISO14001 and EN1090-1 EXC2 standards
- Support welding coordination and product traceability
