We are recruiting for an AV Workshop Technician to join a busy and growing team in Wokingham, Berkshire preparing professional audio-visual equipment for events across the UK. Working from a spacious modern workshop, you will be responsible for testing, inspecting and preparing large-format display screens (typically 55 and above) along with other AV equipment, ensuring everything is in perfect working order before it is sent to customers.
What you will be doing as an AV Workshop Technician:
- Testing and quality checking large-format screens and AV equipment
- Inspecting equipment for damage and grading its condition
- Cleaning and preparing equipment ready for dispatch
- Updating records and completing quality checks
- Diagnosing basic faults and carrying out firmware updates where required
- Occasionally supporting equipment installations at customer sites and events

- Has good technical aptitude and is confident using computers
- Enjoys practical, hands-on work
- Is physically fit and comfortable handling large screens safely
