Our client is a friendly firm who are looking for an ACA, CIMA, ACCA or AAT Level 4 qualified Accountant to join their team and hit the ground running. You need to be well versed in accounting packages and proficient in Sage, Xero and Quickbooks. Due to role being exposed to a variety of clients in various industries you will be an excellent communicator working accurately and conscientiously.
Our client has a lovely working environment with a close-knit team who have a great sense of humour and due to the nature of the office the ideal candidate must like dogs!
The salary on offer is between 40,000- 50,000 per annum. Hybrid working is also available.
The key responsibilities for this Accountant role will be as follows:
- Compilation and review of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Preparation of tax returns for individuals, companies and trusts
- Reviewing bookkeeping and VAT returns
- Supervising and reviewing work of more junior staff
- Supporting clients with their day-to-day accounting queries
- Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients
- Assisting with other wide ranging added value services
