Journey Further is currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Product Manager for our technology solutions team. The selected individual will be responsible for the research, development, and creation of new tools, AI-powered products, and data infrastructure to assist our channel teams (e.g. PPC, SEO, Paid Social, and Creative). This role spans product development, data engineering, and applied AI, requiring a hands‑on approach to building and shipping technology that drives measurable results.

What you will do:

  • Lead the research and development of new tools, AI agents, and data solutions to support our digital channel teams.
  • Create requirements for data pipelines, ETL processes, and data transformations using Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, and related tools.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions that enable channel teams and clients to make data‑driven decisions.
  • Lead the development of AI‑powered tools and agents using large language models, AI coding assistants, and APIs to automate and enhance marketing workflows.
  • Define and prioritise product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with the needs of channel leads and broader business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate ideas into functioning products, leveraging Typescript, Python, SQL, cloud services, and AI frameworks.
  • Manage the full product lifecycle, from ideation and specification to development, testing, and iteration.
  • Work closely with internal and external developers to drive successful implementation and ongoing improvement of products.
  • Ensure that user interface (UI) design and user experience (UX) are central to product development, delivering intuitive, efficient, and engaging tools.
  • Continuously explore emerging technologies including AI/ML, LLMs, and cloud platform advancements and evaluate their application to digital marketing challenges.
  • Develop training materials and onboarding documentation for end users.
  • Conduct end‑user feedback surveys to ensure a user‑friendly experience and identify new requirements.

Requirements:

  • Solid experience in building tools, data infrastructure, and technology products, preferably in a digital agency or in the Digital Marketing space.
  • Proven track record of creating effective tools for digital teams.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills, with a self‑motivated and independent work ethic.
  • Strong understanding of different digital channels.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders to develop specifications and project requirements.
  • Hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Build, and related services.
  • Experience building and managing data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and data transformations at scale.
  • Proficiency in building dashboards and data visualisations using tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, or custom‑built reporting solutions.
  • Demonstrable experience using AI coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor) and developing AI‑powered applications, agents, or integrations using LLM APIs.
