What you will do:
- Partner with the Creative Director to spearhead client relationships and new business, acting as the agency’s leading authority on creative execution.
- Develop campaign concepts, design systems and asset frameworks.
- Create social-native design and video/motion templates for Studio production.
- Produce high-quality hero assets across video, motion, animation, OOH and digital.
- Translate concepts into adaptable, multi-format visuals with the help of a Senior Conceptual Creative.
- Use generative design tools to explore variations, treatments and visual directions.
- Produce “toolkit-ready” master files for automation and AI-assisted workflows – to hand over to our AI Creative Engineer to systemise design assets for scale.
- Build, manage and own the relationships with strong freelancers & an external creative roster, evaluating the talent quarterly.
- Maintain visual excellence across rapid-turnaround environments.
- Proactively push our projects where possible, spotting upsell opportunities or areas where we can drive extra business value for our clients.
- Support our CD in developing the vision and strategic direction of the department.
- Use generative design tools to find the right balance between human craft & AI-assisted production.
- Own the new Journey Further internal brand, launching Q1.
Requirements:
- Strong visual design, motion and digital-first portfolio.
- Ability to build scalable design frameworks – knowing what core elements every campaign needs, and how they’re deployed across various channels & media types.
- Solid experience with generative design tools (e.g. Midjourney, Weavy, Figma plugins), using these day-to-day in your work to bring visuals to life.
- Ability to work across multiple formats (motion, static, social, digital, OOH).
- Proven experience as a Senior Designer, Senior Generative Designer, Head of Design, or a similar role in an agency.
- Experience pitching for and winning new business & managing client relationships.
