About The Role
Our Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic Staff are responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment. You will identify maintenance risks on equipment, diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, and conduct general cleaning services across these systems.
About You
Experience/ Education:
- Trade qualification
- High level of trade and industry experience relative to trade qualification
Skills knowledge and attributes:
- Ability to understand and comply with Rail Safety and Work Health and Safety legislatives principles and practices
- Attention to detail
- Interpersonal, Oral and Written communication skills
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Safety orientated
- Ability to work independently and within a team
Key responsibilities will include:
- Carry out repairs and maintenance of rolling stock in accordance with the maintenance schedule.
- Deliver planned and preventative maintenance activities across the JBR fleet of rolling stock
- Carry out asset inspections and undertake fault finding initiatives
- Completion of all required paperwork in a diligent, accurate and timely manner.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Commitment to high standards of conduct and Workplace Health and Safety Policies and Procedures, reflecting the Company values.
- Actively participate in RSW training, ensuring RSW qualifications are valid.
