The BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra is seeking a Music Librarian to manage its music library, prepare performance materials, and support the artistic team.
Responsibilities
- Acquire and prepare scores and parts.
- Liaise with publishers, conductors, and musicians.
- Ensure compliance with copyright regulations.
Qualifications
- Degree in music or equivalent experience in music librarianship.
- Strong knowledge of orchestral repertoire.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Position details
Full-time, permanent. Salary range £26,500–£38,500, based on experience. Located at City Halls, Glasgow.
