Hothersall Lodge Outdoor Education Centre is seeking a passionate outdoor tutor who enjoys sharing their love for the outdoors. The role involves instructing groups of young people in exciting and challenging outdoor activities, while appreciating the natural world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: You will need resilience and adaptability to respond to changes at short notice, directing groups and building positive relationships while prioritising safety.
- Communication & Collaboration: Skilled communication is essential for providing clear instructions to diverse groups, ensuring understanding and engagement.
Qualifications:
- Trained in at least two and assessed in at least one of the following NGB Awards: Mountain Leader (Summer), RCI or CWI, Paddlesport Instructor or Leader, Mountain Bike Leader award.
- D1 driving entitlement is desirable.
