Step into the role of Product Operations Trainee Merchandiser!
Discover an exciting opportunity to take on an integral role here at Joules Head Office.
The Merchandising Operations team pride themselves on Operational Excellence, taking a forward facing, solution based approach identifying risks and opportunities in all that they do.
No two days are the same in the Merch Ops department; this role will involve problem solving, analysing data and process optimisation.
You will be working closely with the Merchandising team and all key stakeholders throughout the business.
Responsibilities
- Maximising both full price and markdown sales by working closely with in house merchandising teams and branch merchandising to optimise stock in all channels.
- Supporting new store openings and events stock allocation
- Ensuring we are managing markdown stock through our channels at key points in the season and utilising the correct exit routes when appropriate.
- Building and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders across marketing, finance, partnership teams, product teams and the product operations team at Next.
- Driving system excellence across the product merch team
- Troubleshooting with the product merch team across systems
- Supporting key stakeholders with reporting requests
About You
From a technical and operational perspective, it would be advantageous if you have:
- Strong eye for detail and data interrogation
- Previous industry experience is essential - this could be via an internship, a paid position or work experience
- Confident stakeholder communications skills, you must have the confidence to ‘push back’, when required
- Experience working within a collaborative, cross-functional environment is essential
- Being able to see the bigger picture from an operational perspective
- Strong problem solving skills
- Completer finisher

Where will you be working?
This is a full time role based at The Barn - our Head Office in Market Harborough, Leicestershire 5 days per week.
