Your role of Health and Safety Administrator sits within our friendly Facilities department.

Your Role:

  • Be the first line support to managers and colleagues on any health & safety queries they may have.
  • Conducting risk assessments, where necessary.
  • Monitor incident report forms and provide data analysis and reporting.
  • Ensure that safety performance KPIs are kept up to date and any concerns raised to the Senior Health & Safety Manager.
  • Updating of safety documents as requested by the Senior Health & Safety Manager, ensuring they are communicated and available to all colleagues.
  • Support on delivering health & safety training, including any induction/onboarding activities.
  • Review compliance on mandatory health & safety training across the business and report any non-compliance to relevant Senior Leadership.
  • Research health and safety best practice, new legislation and trends and maintain an up to date knowledge of health and safety and approved codes of practice so that the services provided are continually improved.

From a technical and operational perspective, it would also be advantageous if you have:

  • Strong administrative capabilities with an eye for detail.
  • Knowledge of the Google Suite (Google sheets, Google docs, Google slides etc).
  • Experience within a similar role.

Where will you be working?

This is a full time, 12 month fixed term contract and can either be based at ‘The Barn’ - Joules’ purpose built Head Office in Market Harborough, Leicestershire or field based depending on the location of the successful candidate. Built in 2020, The Barn offers our team a creative, collaborative and open plan working environment that boasts comfort and exceptional design. It’s truly a great place to work.

This role is office based and typically requires 5 days a week working onsite, as we believe this is where we make the best decisions together.
