Job Description
Your role of Assistant Creative Concept Designer sits within our friendly and innovative Creative Services department.
Responsibilities
- Work within the concept design team with Seasonal Campaigns and Briefs. Be responsible for supporting and evolving our creative direction across Digital, Social, Retail, Wholesale & Campaigns.
- Under the guidance of senior members of the team support with the creative concept response to brief for Seasonal Campaigns. Explore mood, colour, print, typography and layout throughout. For retail look at windows displays, title lockups and look and feel for POS, social and digital. For wholesale, visual displays for product/ theme focus areas, title lockups, key prints, envoy and POS.
- Support the delivery of concept direction for a wide range of Digital, Social, Retail, Wholesale and product/ packaging briefs.
- Support in the delivery of creative asset packs for roll out to the creative delivery team.
- Continually strive to improve the overall look and feel of creative across multiple channels.
- Creating mood content to be used by various channels (social, photography, marketing)
- Support on creating cohesive, clear and well presented projects.
- Admin support for the team.
- Artworking support for the Creative Delivery Team when required.
- Gather and organise competitor research.

Additional Technical & Operational Requirements
- B.A (Hons) Design/Graphics degree (or related subject)
- Relevant experience within industry – this could be via work experience, via an internship or gap year, for example
- An understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud Software (Photoshop / InDesign / Illustrator) & Microsoft Office
- An understanding for Colour, Typography and Layout
- Good collaboration and communication skills
Where will you be working?
This is a full time, 5 days per week role, based at ‘The Barn’ – this is Joules’ purpose built Head Office in Market Harborough, Leicestershire.
