The Red Lion is Joule’s Brewery’s flagship Taphouse and home to The Stag, our purpose-built events venue. As an independent Shropshire brewer with over 200 years of heritage, we’re passionate about creating great pubs, brewing exceptional beer, and delivering memorable experiences for our guests. With an exciting calendar of weddings, celebrations, corporate events, live entertainment and community gatherings booked, we’re looking for an enthusiastic Events & Guest Experience Team Leader to help bring these events to life.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll work closely with our management team to deliver exceptional events while helping to create unforgettable guest experiences across both The Stag and The Red Lion.
What You’ll Get Up To:- Leading and motivating the team.
- Support planning, set-ups, logistics and on-the-day event delivery.
- Ensuring every guest receives a warm, memorable and high-quality experience.
- Maintaining service standards and confidently solving issues as they arise.
- Working with suppliers and internal teams to deliver seamless events.
- Creating a positive team culture with a strong can-do attitude.
- Support the Red Lion team on the bar and the pub floor.
- Being a brand ambassador for Joule’s Brewery.
- Experience in events, hospitality, guest services or a similar people-facing role.
- A confident leader who can motivate and support a team during busy, high-energy shifts.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and remains calm under pressure.
