Purpose
We are looking for a hands-on Marketing Executive (Digital, Brand & Events) to help scale Joulen's growth and commercial pipeline across the UK, Ireland, Europe and beyond. You will blend digital strategy with on-the-ground event coordination, brand development, and content that turns complex concepts into clear customer value. You will join a growing, collaborative commercial team shaping the future of clean energy.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand & Positioning: Evolve and maintain Joulen's brand system across all touchpoints (web, sales collateral, product/partner white-label assets), ensuring consistency and clarity of our value propositions (PARIS, white-label, residential/commercial/grid-scale). Develop messaging frameworks and proof points (case studies, customer stories, partner spotlights) aligned to priority sectors and markets.
- Events & Partnerships: Plan and deliver Joulen's presence at industry conferences, trade shows and partner events: research opportunities, book stands/speaking slots, brief the team, manage suppliers, logistics and on-site execution, and own post-event follow-up and ROI tracking. Coordinate partner co-marketing including PR announcements, onboarding and content.
- Demand Generation & Digital: Plan, build, run and optimise multi-channel campaigns (paid/organic social, paid search/display, retargeting, email, webinars, content syndication) mapped to the buyer journey. Own website updates and SEO; brief designers, developers as needed; maintain strong visibility of analytics, dashboards and regular performance reporting. Nurture programs: build segmented email workflows for prospects, partners and customers (newsletters, product updates, event follow-ups). Social media: calendar management, content creation, community engagement and social listening.
- Content & Thought Leadership: Draft high-quality copy for blogs, landing pages, ads, emails, case studies, press notes and decks; support thought-leadership with our Commercial and Product teams.
- Sales Enablement: Maintain a library of on-brand collateral (one-pagers, pitch decks, leave-behinds); coordinate references and case studies to support bids and RFPs. Collaborate with Sales on lead handoff, ICP refinement and campaign feedback loops.
Essential Criteria
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related discipline.
- 4+ years relevant experience.
- Marketing toolkit: Proven experience across a mix of digital channels social, search, email marketing automation, web/SEO, analytics and reporting.
- Event coordination: Proven experience supporting or running conferences, trade shows or conferences.
- Excellent written and verbal skills; confident presenting, presenting at meetings and reporting results.
- Strong project management and stakeholder coordination across internal teams and external partners.
- Brand aware: ability to brief and collaborate on design; familiarity with tools like Canva or similar.
- Sector interest: enthusiasm for clean energy, data and AI, and the energy transition. Experience in B2B tech and energy is advantageous.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience creating technical explainers/case studies in B2B settings.
- Marketing automation/CRM (e.g., HubSpot) familiarity.
- Basic HTML/CMS knowledge and comfort with analytics tools.
