SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Support sales in selling technically correct systems and use of products by quality assuring that bids are in accordance with technical requirements and taking part in customer meetings to minimise risks to Jotun and ensure that customers’ expectations are met. Support complaints handling by carrying out investigations, identification of possible root causes and documentation of assigned complaints in order to conclude the technical aspect of a complaint.
Responsibilities
- Verify the quality of technical information in bids and specifications by ensuring that written documentation contains reliable and correct technical information to ensure compliance with global standards and customer requirements, and that Jotun is perceived as a preferred supplier.
- Support sales personnel by providing relevant documentation, making draft specifications and project-specific procedures to ensure that the right products and solutions are used for the right purpose and in line with customer expectations.
- Responsible for handling complaint cases by investigation, analysis of possible root causes, reporting and executing all stages of complaint handling to its conclusion.
- Support the sales units in the use of TSS tools as part of the sales process such as Risk Calculators, Project Evaluation documents and guarantees.
- Continuously evaluate and comment on risk assessments by identifying potential risks and suggesting countermeasures in order to minimise risk exposure to Jotun.
- Ensure that all technical inquiries from customers (via sales) on product use, risk assessments, and guarantees are responded to in a timely manner as per Jotun policies and technical guidelines ensuring the correct use of products/specifications.
- Share learning and knowledge from complaint cases by documenting corrective actions taken and their effectiveness, in order to limit the occurrence of the claim and Jotun’s risk exposure.
- Conduct site inspection of coating projects as required.
